介绍了2003年上半年中国汽车工业的总体运行情况及其运行特点，并对上半年汽车产品的进口情况进行了分析，阐述了中国加入世界贸易组织以来，对汽车产业带来的影响，最后对中国汽车产业的发展做出了预测及展望。

Abstract:

General situation of automobile industry in the first semiyear of 2003 in China and its characteristics were introduced, and the import situation of automobile products was also analyzed. The effects due to entering WTO on the automobile industry were explained, and at last the development of automobile indstry in China was forecasted and expected.
