Abstract:As the reactor gradually changes into a large-scale one during mass production of titanium sponge, the traditional method of feeding raw materials form only one place exposes its shortcomings. It can reduce the temperature of the reduction reaction, shorten the reduction periods and eliminate MgCl2 in titanium sponge by using the technology of feeding raw materials from more than one places in the large-scale reactor. It is a feasible method to improve the quality and quantity of titanium sponge.
