Abstract:

Vacuum distillation is the key process to remove foreign materials from titanium sponge. Rational choosing of assembling vacuum unit is of vital importance to improving the quality of titanium sponge. According to the features of reduction distillation technology and characteristics of all kinds of vacuum pumps, the best assembling vacuum unit on producing titanium sponge by Kroll Process was has been brought forward.
