Recent developments in Ceramic Injection Molding (CIM) techniques are reviewed. The influence of the ceramic powder and the formulation of the organic binder (especially the surfactant) on the ceramic feedstock, and the green and sintered parts are discussed in detail. Also, the influence of the mixing sequence, the injection parameters, the debinding methods, and the corresponding debinding rate on the fluidity of feedstock, and the properties of the green and sintered parts are described here.
